RAJASTHAN – LAND OF KINGS

Rajasthan, the largest state of India was formed on 30 March 1949 with Jaipur as the state capital. Throughout the British rule Rajasthan was known as RAJPUTANA, which was denoting soil of Rajputs. Rajput families came out and detained their influence all over the Rajasthan since 700 AD. Once known as the ‘Land of the Kings’, the state still retains the glory and richness of those times with its marvelous monuments, colorful traditions and customs. Earlier it was a part of various states; some of them were Mauryan, Yaudhya, Kushan, Gupta, Huna, Malava and Arjunya. For a traveler who is interested in the history, culture and the lifestyle of the people of the Oriental world, Rajasthan covers most of the area of the Great Indian Desert (Thar Desert) with one edge paralleling the Sutlej - Indus river valley along with its border with Pakistan. ITINERARY:
Day1 : Jaipur

On arrival at Jaipur, our representative will welcome and assist you from the Airport / Railway station to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day2 : Jaipur
After breakfast, take a morning excursion to Amber Fort, the old capital of the rulers of Jaipur. Afternoon enjoy the city tour covering the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, the Royal Observatory built by Sawai Jai Singh II, Nawab Sahab Ki Haveli, drive past Hawa Mahal. Overnight at the hotel.

Day3 : Jaipur - Jodhpur
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (approx 331 kms) - The Desert enchantment. On arrival, check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day4 : Jodhpur
After breakfast, proceed for a full day city excursion covering Mehrangarh fort - it is one of the largest forts in India. Adjacent to the fort complex is Jaswant Thada, and a cluster of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. Afternoon is free for shopping the exquisite handicrafts. Overnight at the hotel.

Day5 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast, drive to Udaipur (approx 266 kms) en route visit the Ranakpur temples - the famous Jain pilgrimage center in Rajasthan. On arrival, check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day6 : Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to the city covering City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari and Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. City Palace - located amidst Lake Pichola, Eklingji and Nagda temples - built in white marble. Overnight at the hotel.

Day7 : Udaipur
After breakfast, check out and our representative will transfer you to the Airport / Railway station for your return journey.Tour Ends.
