Rajasthan, the largest state of India was formed on 30 March 1949 with Jaipur as the state capital. Throughout the British rule Rajasthan was known as RAJPUTANA, which was denoting soil of Rajputs. Rajput families came out and detained their influence all over the Rajasthan since 700 AD. Once known as the ‘Land of the Kings’, the state still retains the glory and richness of those times with its marvelous monuments, colorful traditions and customs. Earlier it was a part of various states; some of them were Mauryan, Yaudhya, Kushan, Gupta, Huna, Malava and Arjunya. For a traveler who is interested in the history, culture and the lifestyle of the people of the Oriental world, Rajasthan covers most of the area of the Great Indian Desert (Thar Desert) with one edge paralleling the Sutlej - Indus river valley along with its border with Pakistan. ITINERARY:
Day1 : Delhi

On arrival in Delhi, our representative will welcome and assist you from the Airport / Railway station to the hotel. Later proceed for a tour of Old Delhi. It is a 17th century walled city with its splendid gates, narrow alleys, the enormous Bazaar. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial of Gandhi. Overnight at the hotel.

Day2 : Delhi

After breakfast, proceed for a tour of New Delhi visiting the Humayun`s Tomb, an observatory called Jantar Mantar, Qutub Minar, India Gate and President House. Afternoon is free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Day3 : Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast, Check out and drive to Jaipur (approx 270 kms). On arrival check in the hotel. Jaipur city was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh in 1727. It is a magnificent planned city built of rose-pink colored stones that is why it is also called "Pink City". Overnight at the hotel.

Day4 : Jaipur
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion tour to Amber fort. Ascend by painted elephant upto the fort with its huge gateways and pillared pavillions. Visit the Marble palace, temple of victory and Sheesh Mahal. Afternoon city tour of Jaipur visiting City Palace, museum and nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds) which is five stories high and is decorated with delicate screens carved from stone. Also visit Jantar Mantar observatory which is still equipped with immense brick and mortar instrument including a very accurate 90 feet sundial. Overnight at the hotel.

Day5 : Jaipur - Bikaner
After breakfast, check out and drive for Bikaner (approx 360 kms).On arrival, check in the hotel. Bikaner is a desert city in a camel country founded on the ancient caravan routes that originated from Africa and West Asia. Afternoon visit the impressive Junagarh Fort where the palaces have interesting mingling of marble and red stone. Overnight at the hotel.

Day6 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
After breakfast, check out and drive for Jaisalmer (approx 350 kms). On arrival, check in the hotel. Jaisalmer is an architectural dream in the lonely yellow silence of the desert and where you have a feeling of still living in medieval era. Overnight at the hotel.

Day7 : Jaisalmer
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Jaisalmer visiting the Fort, Patwaon Ki Haveli and Nathmal Ki Haveli which are famous for their wonderful carvings. Afternoon free to explore the desert town on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Day8 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast, check out and drive for Jodhpur (approx 300 kms), located on a low sand store hill in the heart of desert. On arrival, check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day9 : Jodhpur
After breakfast, proceed to visit the Meharangarh Fort. It has a high stone wall protecting the well fortified city. It has rich collection of Palanquins, elephant howdahs, musical instruments, costumes, furnitures and armoury. Afternoon visit the Mandore Gardens. Overnight at the hotel.

Day10 : Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast, check out and drive to Udaipur (approx 270 kms). Enroute visit the Ranakpur. Here are 15th century Jain Temples known for outstanding sculptures. It has 1444 pillars and none of them is alike. Then proceed to Udaipur which is also called city of lakes. On arrival, check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day11 : Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Chittorgarh visiting the Victory Tower, Kirti Stambh, and ruins of Temples and Palaces. Return to Udaipur. Overnight at the hotel.

Day12 : Udaipur
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour of Udaipur visiting the City Place Museum which is of granite and marble. Each Palace within is an outstanding creation of Art. Also visit Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Badi and Bazars. Afternoon excursion to Eklingi which is known for 8th century family temple of Maharajas Of Udaipur. Also visit Nagada nearby famous for another 9th century temple. Overnight at the hotel.

Day13 : Udaipur
After breakfast, check out and our representative will transfer you to the Airport / Railway station for your return journey.Tour Ends.
