Jim Corbett National Park, one of the greatest National Parks of Asia. Five hundred and twenty acres of forests, hills and grasslands, fed by a frisky river. A bio-diversity that is rich, rare and precious. The perfect habitat for the tiger, elephant, hog deer, birds and other wildlife species fast vanishing from the earth. Corbett Wildlife National Park: Set up in 1936 as India`s first wildlife national park and possibly the finest, the Corbett National Park was established in consultation with the great hunter and conservationist, Jim Corbett. The wildlife park spreads over some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100 metres at the foothills of western Himalayas in the districts of Nainital and Pauri Garhwal. In its eventful 64-year life, it has grown considerably in size and now includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 sq km of reserved forest area.
ITINERARY:
Day1 : Delhi - Corbett
On arrival at Delhi, our representative will welcome and assist at the Airport / Railway station and will drive you to Corbett (approx 270 kms). On arrival, check in the resort. Evening is free to enjoy the facilities at the resort. Overnight at the resort.
Day2 : Corbett - Nainital
Early morning a Jeep Safari offers you the opportunity to appreciate the flora and fauna of the Park. Return to your resort for breakfast. Later proceed to Nainital (approx 70 kms), the Lake City. On arrival, check in the hotel and rest. Afternoon is free to take a walk to the mall or try the ropeway for some picturesque sights (Optional). Overnight at the hotel
Day3 : Nainital
After breakfast, proceed to visit some of the lakes, namely Sattal, Bhimtal and Naukuchiatal where you have an opportunity for boating. Rest of the afternoon is free to explore Nainital on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
Day4 : Nainital - Rishikesh
After breakfast, descend to the lower laps of the Himalayas to
Rishikesh (approx 260 kms) along the holy river Ganga. On arrival, check in the hotel. In the evening take a walk to the nearby village or visit Haridwar and then return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day5 : Rishikesh - Mussoorie
After breakfast, gear up for a unique experience of the White Water Rafting! (Optional). Later proceed to Mussoorie (approx 76 kms). On arrival, check in the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day6 : Mussoorie
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Mussoorie visiting the Gun Hill, which you can reach by taking a cable car and also visit the Kempty Falls. Evening is to relax or visit the Mall which is a good place to soak in the charm of being on a Hill station. Overnight at the hotel.
Day7 : Mussoorie - Delhi
After breakfast, proceed to Delhi (approx 269 kms). On arrival, our representative will transfer you to the Airport / Railway station for your return journey. Tour Ends.
