Kashmir is a beautiful Himalayan valley with breathtaking mountain scenery, clear lakes, lush vegetation and magnificent forests. The capital city Srinagar (1730m) is famous for its canals,housewboats and Mughal gardens. The Buddhist monasteries of Ladakh add to the glitter of this breathtaking location.The Srinagar-Leh and Manali-Leh highways are famed for cross-Himalayan expeditions. The pilgrimage centers like Vaishno Devi and Amarnath are of much importance to the Hindus. Here you can also enjoy the shikara ride. Gulmarg derives its root from "the meadow of flowers" and is indeed a picturesque location.
ITINERARY:
Day1 : Srinagar
On arrival in Srinagar, our representative will welcome and assist you from the Airport / Railway station to the deluxe houseboat. Rest of the day free to relax. Overnight in the deluxe houseboat.
Day2 : Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Gulmarg. Have the panaromic view of snow caped Nanga Parbat and also visit Khilanmarg. In the evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight in the deluxe houseboat.
Day3 : Srinagar –Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for a Shikara Ride on the famous Dal Lake visiting the floating Vegetable Gardens, handicraft centers. Afternoon visit the famous Mughal Gardens, Temples. Enroute visit the handloom centres. Overnight at the hotel.
Day4 : Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion tour to Pahalgam (approx 96 kms). Surrounded by high mountains, forests, 9 whole golf courses, skiing. Enjoy the horse ridding and visit Aru valley, Chandanwari, which is the route to Amaranth Holy cave. Evening return back to Srinagar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day5 : Srinagar-City Tour
After breakfast, proceed for a city tour and visit the Shah Hamadan Mosque, Hari Parbat fort, Jama Masjid. Afternoon free for individual activities. Overnight at the hotel
Day6 : Srinagar-Sonamarg-Srinagar
After breakfast, proceed for a full day excursion to Sonamarg (approx 83 kms). Sonamarg lies in the Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. Enjoy horse riding upto Thajwas glacier and sledge riding on snow (Optional). Late afternoon drive back to Srinagar. Overnight at the hotel.
Day7 : Srinagar
After breakfast, check out and our representative will transfer you to the Airport / Railway station for your return journey.Tour Ends.
