Karnataka displays a remarkable contrast with rapid growth of IT industry at one end and vast expanses of rural farming at the other. Apart from being a major producer of coffee, sandalwood, spices and betelnut, Karnataka accounts for 60% of country’s silk. There are a number of interesting tours in Karnataka. Karnataka has rightly been named as ‘Cradle of stone architecture’- it has profusion of monuments, including, the cave temples of Badami and Aihole, domes and minarets of Bijapur, the World Heritage Center at Pattadakal.
ITINERARY:
Day1 : Arrival Bangalore
On arrival in Bangalore, our representative will welcome and assist you from the Airport / Railway station to the hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day2 : Bangalore
After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour to the city and visit Lalbagh, Cubbon Park, Vidhan Soudha, Venkatappa Art Gallery, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Vishveshwarah Museum, Ulsoor Lake, Bull temple and Tipu`s Palace. Overnight at the hotel.
Day3 : Bangalore- Mysore
After breakfast, check out and drive to Mysore (approx 140 kms). Enroute visit Srirangapatnam. On arrival check in the hotel. In the evening visit the Brindavan Gardens and Krishnarajasagar Dam. Overnight at the hotel.
Day4 : Mysore- Ooty
After breakfast, check out and drive to Ooty (approx 160 kms). Enroute visit the Bandipur Wild Life Sanctuary and view the Tea Gardens. On arrival, check in the hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing and visit to the Ooty Lake, Botanical Gardens and Dodda Betta. Overnight at the hotel.
Day5 : Ooty
After breakfast, proceed to Conoor to visit the Tea Gardens, Sim`s Park and Dolphin`s Nose. Later visit the various locations where the famous films were shot. Overnight at the hotel.
Day6 : Ooty - Bangalore
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bangalore (approx 290 kms). On arrival, our representative will transfer you to the Airport / Railway station for your return journey.Tour Ends.
